Aim Of The Institute
The aim of the institution is to impart sound education by forming in the students habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance, during the years of their studies.
The institution also strives to nurture intellectual curiosity and a spirit of inquiry among students, encouraging them to think critically and act responsibly in a rapidly changing world. It seeks to develop well-rounded individuals who are not only academically competent but also socially conscious, culturally aware, and committed to serving society with integrity, compassion, and a sense of purpose.
Our Philosophy
Education of the heart is the heart of education.
— Peter Marie Mermier
Fransalian Educational Vision
Driven by the philosophy of Fransalian education, we are committed to
fostering the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social
development of every child. We believe that children are the subjects of
learning and that each child possesses the capacity to grow and learn.
With the support of parents and the wider community, the school strives
to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages meaningful
learning, nurtures a passion for knowledge, and promotes moral values
and life skills necessary for realizing one’s full potential. Guided by
the teachings of Jesus and the values of the Church, SFS School seeks to
form responsible individuals who contribute positively to society
through collaboration and mutual respect.
emblem represents the balanced formation of students in accordance with academic standards, moral values, and
social responsibility.
Respect and Social Responsibility
Education in a multicultural and pluralistic society requires fostering
genuine respect for others and sensitivity toward people of different
communities, beliefs, and traditions. The school aims to mentor and
guide students in universal values such as discipline, interconnectedness,
and the ability to appreciate perspectives different from their own. It
promotes excellence in both academics and life, encourages leadership,
nurtures habits of personal discipline and hygiene, and helps students
grow in faith and confidence in the goodness of humanity.
Primary Education Approach
In the Primary section, emphasis is placed on a comprehensive learning
process that allows children to enjoy learning while developing their
intellectual and physical abilities. Importance is given to imagination,
creativity, and active expression. Teaching and learning are directed
toward understanding rather than mere memorization, helping students
develop strong study habits from an early stage. The school also provides
opportunities for children to explore their talents in areas such as
craft, art, dramatics, and music, encouraging balanced growth and the
healthy coordination of mental and physical development.
Our Vision
Building a holistic society of spiritually enlightened, intellectually awakened, professionally skilled, socially committed and culturally integrated persons who will reach out to others in compassion and love.
Our Mission
Educational Vision
This school envisages an educational programme inspired by the legacy
of St. Francis de Sales, who considered knowledge as the eighth
sacrament. The practice of critical thinking, creative imagination,
and a passion for truth and justice inspire young minds to explore
new ideas, life experiences, and the endless possibilities that
education offers. The mission to promote the spiritual, moral,
intellectual, physical, cultural, social, and emotional development
of every student arises from the belief that each child possesses
immense potential.
The school therefore encourages students to use their abilities fully
through relational ways of learning—by engaging with their lives,
environment, and community traditions. To achieve this mission,
the school blends both traditional and contemporary curricula and
practices.
Commitment to Holistic Development
The school is committed to nurturing the following:
A holistic environment that allows each child to grow in knowledge
and develop a sense of responsibility toward society.
Opportunities for students to develop Christian values that
strengthen them to face the challenges of the modern world.
An atmosphere of care, support, and understanding that encourages
excellence while respecting diverse learning styles and abilities.
A nurturing environment that promotes positive attitudes toward
oneself and toward others.
Opportunities to promote communal harmony, cultural integration,
and acceptance of racial, cultural, and social diversity.
Active involvement with the local community and opportunities for
students to participate in community service.
