Study Tour to Zoological Park, Aizawl
On 16 January 2026, students of Classes I to IV of St. Francis de Sales School, Lengpui went on an educational study tour to the Zoological Park, Aizawl. A total of 72 students participated in the trip, accompanied by Sr. Christina Lalrinfeli MSMHC and their respective class teachers.
The study tour was organized with the aim of providing students with first-hand knowledge about wildlife and nature. During the visit, the children enthusiastically explored various animal enclosures and observed animals such as tigers, monkeys, snakes, and several other species. The students learned about the animals’ habitats, food habits, and unique characteristics, which helped them connect their classroom learning with real-life experiences.
The tour proved to be both educational and enjoyable. The students showed great curiosity and excitement as they interacted with their teachers and asked questions about the animals and the importance of wildlife conservation. The experience helped nurture awareness and respect for nature at a young age.
The trip was a great success, leaving the students with unforgettable memories and valuable knowledge. It was truly a joyful learning experience for everyone involved.
